Update...

Well... my friends, it's been a very long time. No, I'm not dead. And I've not been captured by aliens. I've been living in Chiefland, working at CFCC. I tutor mentally/emotionally retarded people as well as administer pre-testing for our GED program. It's good work. I have a gift for teaching it seems.

I've been recording (finally) my first album. Aaron Angstrom is the man behind the mixing board, and we've been having oh so much fun preparing the tracks for your listening enjoyment. The wonderful musicians that have made their musical impact include the incomparable John Shea, Mike Whittaker from Seventh Star, a hardcore band, on mandolin (shut up!!!), a guy named Miles on violin, and Shaun Douglas, also of Seventh Star fame, on percussion. It should be finished this month. I'm very excited and I can't wait for it to be available for you. I'll let you know when the CD release party will be.

I've just been offered a job with First Baptist Church Ocala working with the youth group and their praise and worship music. Gonna move back to Ocala. It's an awesome opportunity. I'm beginning in the Fall with the Baptist College of Florida. Excited!

I love Christa. It's been a year and 6 months for us. Marriage is a sure thing. It's just a matter of us getting our ducks in a row. She's working for a hospital now as a nurse. Gonna be my sugar-momma!

In other news... I discovered that I'm not all that exciting. That's why it took me so long to post. I needed something really worth it. Otherwise you'd just hear me complain about school, ex-girlfriends, parents, and lack of motivation. I must admit, I miss seeing all of you. You are all amazing people. I hope that when I move here, I'll get to hang out with you.

Take care.

Your friend,

Steve Germany
