Ahaha... So! Haven't posted in a while. Whoops. BUT. I need some help.
Recently, I've been doing some in-school tutoring at an elementary school. Which is awesome! But I have a problem. I have one girl who, for whatever reason, was promoted from kindergarten without knowing how to read. My problem is that I have to catch her up to the rest of the class - which is, from what I can gather, already fairly proficient in the letters area - in only 45 minutes per week. I know how I learned how to read, but I somehow doubt that my grandmother's intensive teaching would work with today's attention-deficient youth.
