TONIGHT -- Friday, February 24 -- The Secret Cinema will close out its Valentine's Month mini-series with a special double feature of rarely-screened "Eurotica" films. First up is THE LICKERISH QUARTET, a classic of eroticism, mystery and style from the dawn of the '70s, directed by soft-core auteur Radley Metzger. It's companion is THE LIBERTINE -- an outrageous Italian sex romp from the late 1960s with a feminist slant, space-age fashions, an exotica electronic organ score and generous nudity.
The screening will also include unusual short subjects. The showtimes are as follows:
8:00 pm - THE LICKERISH QUARTET 10:00 pm - THE LIBERTINE
Admission is $6.00 for one or both films.
All Secret Cinema presentations are projected in 16mm film on a giant screen.
