WoT spec
Maybe this is something people only do when they're INCREDIBLY bored, but I thought I'd try to cast the Wheel of Time series...
Arnie Hammer, 22, as Rand al'Thor
Strong facial features give that hardened look, light-colored hair, and best of all, it's hard to find a good young actor that happens to be 6'5", nearly Rand's height. Cast as Bruce Wayne in the upcoming Justice League movie.
Emile Hirsch, 22, as Mat Cauthon
Short, thin, fun-and-games type. Speed Racer.
Paul Telfer, 29, as Perrin Aybara
A little old, but strong as an ox, perfect for a blacksmith and without too many lines.
Gavin Hood, 45, as Lan Mandragoran
Has played the leader-type in Stargate's "Lockdown." Old enough to appear experienced and hardened, not too old-looking to sell a romance with a twenty-something. Directed just-finished Wolverine movie.
Christopher Judge, 44, as Loial
Tall(still needs some special effects), dark-skinned(less makeup needed), booming voice, and trademark ear-to-ear smile. Take off the Golden brand from Stargate, put on a big wig, some large, pointy ears and some stilts and it's a perfect match.
Nestor Carbonell, 41, as Logain Ablar
Rugged, mysterious, unpredictable. Richard Alpert!
