I got my phone back. Same number. Paying lots of bills over the next few weeks. Moving into the new apartment on Thursday. Mike pulled 80grand out of his ass and got the building so hopefully nothing will fuck that up in the next 2 weeks. My birthday is like next Tuesday. Hopefully someone drops a bag of cash in my lap....or a DW9000. Whatever.

dw9000's are made out of extremely cheap metal and are way overpriced.

definetly way over priced. but they feel far superior to any pedal.

well, I destroyed one in about a year. It's made of really cheap soft metal so the screws don't hold in place very well, especially on a double pedal. I had to tighten them every break I got or else it would fall apart mid song. Also, places where there was any sort of stress, screws broke, parts fell off, and the metal just kinda flaked away. It was really bizarre. Given that, I'd say get a Yamaha Pedal, since they're made out of motorcycle steel, and are as light as a DW but far more resilient, or get a an Iron Cobra, which somehow are cheaper than anything else of comparable quality. Also, the new Iron Cobra's are so adjustable that if you play around with it for a few days, you can make it as comfortable as the dw9000

yeah. someone told me about the yamaha hardware and it definetly makes sense figuring they make motorcycles and shit. ill check them out and the iron cobras.
right now im playing a strap driven dw5000 and it usually breaks on me on the first song. lately its been holding up. the only reason i have it is cuz i got it for mad cheap.

you know anything about the 9000 hihats stands i should be aware of? cuz they play awesome.
