[Once the disruption of the breach had settled back into the more normal strangeness of the Barge, Rinzler headed directly for his Warden's cabin. He knocked, once, and held himself poised to meet the force of her disapproval--he hadn't responded to her attempt to rein him back from chasing after Slick, and refused repeatedly her arguments as to why he couldn't be right in still executing his primary functions.
