Suggest that incidence of Inmate-caused fatalities significantly reduced by implementation of "tit-for-tat" punishment for homicide: Killer suffers same death as victim, simultaneous with death of victim.

Offer of assistance with communication devices remains open.

Solution seeks to reduce murders. But 'tit for tat' strategy has no endgame. The result is simply more murders.

Criticism equally relevant to current strategy of "no action". Proposed solution seeks extinction of negative behavior through immediate negative consequences.

Side-effect of solution also sanctions murders. Ineffective and counterproductive to purposes.

Query: Why?

Exploitation of loopholes via lack of self-defense clause possible. However majority of aggressive parties on Barge lack forethought required for exploitation.

Answer: It is hypocrisy to try to teach killing to be wrong by killing. It renders killer permissible.

Fact: Majority of aggression on the Barge are caused by the lack of permanence of death and emotion. Even in self-defense, death is not an answer.

[Somewhere, Tron agrees with you, Bruce.]

Query: "Hypocrisy" requires moral assumption?

Moral and/or ethical standards do not inhere to suggested solution. Retaliatory death carried out by outside force as direct result of murder enacted, not as form of judgment. Thus lack of clause for self-defense or assisted self-termination.

"Every action has a reaction".

Answer: Hypocrisy requires following the moral laws set down rather than going against them in the attempt to force others to follow the laws.

If the reaction justifies the action by its mere existence, then it is incorrect.

However moral action requires moral agent. Solution does not implement agent in passing "sentence" for retaliatory death. "Tit for tat" death function inherent to system.
