Ah - I've just arrived, and I'm very happy to learn about these apartment arrangements. I was a bit worried about the men and women sharing rooms, but apparently I'm to be roomed with the great Ladies, Demeter and Hestia, so there's no need to worry about that ( Read more... )

Hello, hello, darling Genia!! I am so, so pleased you have joined us!! Though currently Cronus does not allow us to visit each other's apartments, perhaps we could see each other somewhere nearby! There is a most beautiful, quaint little coffee shop around the corner...

It would be my absolutely delight to show you around New York, although there still happen to be thousands of unexplored places for me, as well! It is such a big city, is it not? If it is your wish, perhaps we could explore it together!

A-as your family...you...o-oh, no...!

[CAN HYGEIA CALL HER GENIA FOR SHORT, MAYHAPS?? ; w;♥]

Oh! Hello there...Lady Hygeia? Oh my - thank you for the welcome. I did here about the no apartment visiting, which is odd - I don't get it, it doesn't seem like too much of a punishment since you can always meet elsewhere...

Coffee shop? I would love to meet you and be shown around - it does look terrifyingly big, and the building are so tall, very very tall...(But what is a coffee shop?)

Oh no? Did my family get hurt?

[YES, YES SHE CAN!! ♥]

Hello!! A-and p-please, Genia, do just call me simply Hygeia. I'm hardly one to be called 'lady'!! Yes! Perhaps Cronus overlooked that certain detail...which I am personally thankful for!

Yes! They sell exquisite muffins there! Oh, yes--the buildings ("skyscrapers," as I overheard a mortal calling it) is rather overwhelming, even now!, but hopefully time will allow us to become accustomed to such surroundings! (Um, um! It is a nice, small shop where there are beautiful plush couches and tables where one can sit down after buying drinks and edibles! It is lovely and so peaceful! There is often quiet music playing overhead, though I personally do not know how the shop manages to do so!)

N-No, not...well...i-it was more you who was hurt.

[YAAAAAAAAAAY!]

Oh, thank you - that really is kind of you, you being one of the - the immortals and all. I'm thankful as well - I'm not fully informed on what occured before, but the bit I know does sound troublesome.

Skyscrapers? What a funny name! IIt would be nice to get used to things...(as we have no idea how long...) Ah, coffee shops sound wonderful - music overhead? Perhaps this strange time has allowed them better acoustics for players to simply rest in the upper levels and play then?

I got hurt? Lord Achilles says I died - but we all die eventually, well us mortals do is what I mean, but he seems to be evading the subject.

Oh, no! It is perfectly fine! Y-yes, well, Cronus is on a bit of a rampage as of now, but hopefully Rhea will manage to intervene, soon!

Yes, it is!! Hee. It would be nice to gradually become accustomed to our situation, and I suppose while some circumstances improve with each passing day, others decline, but I suppose this is life (especially as a mortal! I have so much to learn, yet)! The coffee shop is all kinds of wonderful! Perhaps there are even greater mortal inventions than what we have witnessed so far! This world is certainly er, full of surprises!!

I-I...p-perhaps, I am thinking, as I do not know how to voice this properly, it would be best for Achilles to inform you of what happened, as the both of you were quite close in our previous time!

Thank you - I do feel honored.

You know what is terribly surprising? The place to...ahem, relieve oneself have water everywhere and running everywhere, and this bottle called soap. It looks very, very vaugely like soup - the letters I mean, in this Arabic script. (I was informed about this and can read it surprisingly). Is it to be eaten?

I really am looking forward to seeing this amazing coffee shop.

...Lord Achilles is doing whatever he can to not inform me. Surely it cannot be as bad as you all make it out be, Hygeia...

OH, YES! It--it is a miracle!! A miracle, a miracle! Oh, thank goodness! I have gone to many hotels (which is a large skyscraper dedicated to housing people from far away!) just to peek into such places--it is absolutely divine! Oh, my!! I-I do not know if the soap you are mentioning can be eaten--er, I have not tried it myself! Perhaps we can try it, together??

Yes! We must meet, soon! And afterwards, if anything else catches your interest afterwards, we can head there if you wish!

I have faith in Achilles, in informing you! I--well, I'm sure it---well--it---um, it depends on the person, I suppose! E-er.

Like an apartment building? (The hotels then??) I turned on the handle a moment ago - and oh the water was hot even though it was winter! Those servants must be working so hard below the building, heating the water...I wish I could thank them...the soap is an odd color, cerulean blue. I will wait for you to taste it though!

Tomorrow perhaps we could meet? Out in the hallways? I'm on the first floor - what about you Hygeia?

He's finally opening up - something about my father - I don't understand...

(Oh, yes! It is vast inside, and so clean!!) Oh, yes! Hot water all year around is absolutely heavenly! And there is always a neverending flow! Perhaps we could bake some cookies and take them downstairs to them! ...I don't think Cronus mentioned anything in particular about the basement being off-limits! What a darling soap color--thank you very much! I shall make haste so you will not have to wait long!

Yes!! Tommorow is a perfect day! I am currently rooming on the 12th floor! I shall come down to meet you, then!

O-oh, my...well, yes, d-do not fret much, dear heart, he will...will properly explain everything to you!

Cookies? I've never baked them before never baked anything before. I'd love to do something for the servants working so hard!

All the way on the tippy top! Is the view nice? Tomorrow would be lovely for the exploration!

Lord Achilles says he'll tell me in person...should I prepare myself in some way?

Yes! They are quite delicious, as well as fun to bake! We must try it, then! Yes, it is very nice to do something nice for people who work so hard for us every day! What flavor of cookie do you suppose they will enjoy best?

It is very nice! Without Cronus assigning us to specific rooms, my usual apartment is on the 10th floor, and the 12th floor is even higher! The view is wonderful and sometimes dizzying! Then I shall come by your room to meet you tommorow! In the morning, would that be alright with you? Though I suppose I shan't be able to step inside!

Oh!--he does? I-i think you...should always stay who you are, sweet Genia, no matter what!

[YES, IA. SAME FOR HYGEIA-MUN, AS WELL. *s-shifty eyes*]

I'm really looking forward to it! And it is nice - they do work so hard, and I know they have this mortal tek-naw-la-gee but it still must be hard work! Flavors...? I saw a sign for 'chocolate' on the way here...does that go in cookies? Is it good?

I can imagine it being dizzy - maybe if Cronus ever changes his mind, I'll come up to the roof and see! I think the manager said that normally I would be on the third floor...with Lady Hestia!

Tomorrow then - if you knock on our door(if you can do that, if not the wall should work, yes?) I'll be waiting, and then we can set out!

Thank you - I am just a bit nervous about it, haven't seen him and so long and he's been so grave about the whole entire matter...

[Chocolate wasn't discovered by the Greeks back then, pretty sure...feel free to correct me if I'm wrong...]
