_sabriel Full-Color Adolescence. Just a normal day.
We’re walking home.
Nothing’s different.
Today in school while others were studying for finals…
What were we doing? Oh, I’m just kidding.
Of course I remember.
Every time you touch me, it makes my skin burn red hot and it never goes away completely.
We’re talking now about tennis and work and the future…
But it’s meaningless because I’m not paying attention - I just want to get into your pants.
And soon enough we’re at your house, and I’m about to be punished for not listening to you drone on and on.
Punish me. I love it when you do. With the sweetest torture.
And then it’s over and we’re both satisfied. For now.
So I pretend to sleep and you go read a tennis magazine.
This normalcy would surprise others who assume everything we do is electric and complex. But no, sometimes even I, Masaharu, like to take things slow. But you’re the only one I’d do this lovey-crap with.
I’ve always been more of a sprinter, never really got those people who strolled along. But as we traipse along, my head on your shoulder, another day on this slow stupid earth, d’ya think we could do this forever? The little things matter, too. You taught me that. So in exchange, let’s walk with my eyes focused betwixt the vanishing point and the probable tomorrow. Like this, let's walk into the future. Together.
