What fresh hell is this?
If you've ever seen the Venture Brothers theres that ending scene in ep 1 of season 4 (I think) where the Monarch gets out of jail and comes out of the pipe blinded by sludge and feels a hand and says "thank god I thought you guys weren't going to be here -a- (cleans his eyes, sees his arch enemy's hand floating mid air) and says "What?!" the delivery there is priceless, that kind of deadpan delivery of the word 'What' and you're going to have to go watch that ep now, but I bring it up to describe my feelings as of late (since last tues). It's a bit of disbelief mixed with the words "really? *turn head to side* REALLY? REALLY??"
Mike says there are other people to know and be friends with. He's right. Still a bummer.
On a lighter note I broke a heart of a man who didnt know what he wanted, but I knew what I wanted so I wasn't as blinded as he. I feel as though maybe I was blinded before (say two years ago) as well when I was smitten and unable to see that there are SO many better options out there that just FIT you. it's great.
