The Witch is Dead

[Mimi has been in a remarkably good mood lately -- She hums or sings almost every moment she gets, she practically skips as she goes to work every morning . . . Even that riot a few days back and the Police Chief's broadcast could hardly shake her good spirits.  On the streets, people might recognize a certain tune if they hail from Earth.]

Ding dong, ba-dump bum bum, ba-dump bum bum, ba-dump bum bum . . . ~ Ding dong, the wicked bum bum buuuuuuum ~ Ding dong ba-da-da-da, ba-da-da-da, ba-da-da-daaaaaaa ~ Ding dong ba da da da da ~daaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~

So like, isn't it just a totally wonderful day?  Like, the sky is blue, the sun is shining.  Really a great day to be alive.  Like, I know you all must be super bummed about that stuff Grady was spouting, but look on the bright side!  You guys got him to like, admit out loud to everyone that he knows none of this is real!  It's like, a step forward, right?  And like, you guys listened real good, right?  He's 'stuck here'.  Just like all of us.  I know like, trying to butter him up has totally sent us up the creek on the failboat in the past, but there might be something there.  Just like, a thought.

And like, Jolt, I hope you're feeling better.

[Oh yeah by the way.  There's a dead body in the middle of the town scarred almost beyond recognition and impaled with about a dozen knives.  Closer examination will reveal that it carries a wallet with the ID of one Matthew Engarde.]
