in the midst of all the complaining i forgot to mention that i got a gold key for my scholastics portfolio. i'm still bitter benG got a gold medal or whatever, but at least i got something, right

my gold key came with a notice that people who get gold keys are still under consideration for higher awards. also, a lot of people are getting their stuff at all different, random times.

No ma'am. The only girl from our class to win anything was Erin. Lily (junior) won something and Zach (sophomore). And a freshman named Ashley. All gold keys, I think.

I'm secretly glad that Sam didn't get anything, because she always seems really snotty about the fact that she got in and goes to Carver, and I didn't.

yeah, but mr.cook got a phone call about ben's gold portfolio like...weeks and weeks ago. so i probably didn't get much higher. and it looked like the teachers had a lisit of everyone's awards.
