I thought I was going to shoot myself in the FACE today in Chem. Monday was the day I had lab, and in the prelab lecture he talked about Density blah blah and then went over it AGAIN in general lecture for 45 minutes. So I got to sit through it 2 separate 45 minute times. NOT pleased. Some people left. But damn it, i am paying for this class, I want to sit there IN class and learn shit....but I'm not sure I learned shit, I just started to fall asleep. Whatever.
I am well underway with my homework and stuff. Mainly because I do NOTHING at work all day in the athletics department. Yesterday I seriously did like 25 minutes of work. 20 of which I was working on my own report that I have been putting together. What was the 5 minutes of work I did that he asked me to do? Back up his thumb drive to his computer. Then check an online database to see which of his students have finished their online course thing. The work study chick made some photocopies then read for 45 minutes. This man does NOT need 2 work study kids and a GA. He only needs a GA. And he barely needs me.
Whatever. I am getting free tuition and I really like him, so I am happy. Things will get busy once we get our 3 week grade reports and maybe I can start meeting students over here on Tuesdays.
I have been playing Lord of the Rings Online with Meg, Chris and his brothers and let me tell you, it is freaking AWESOME. I loooove it! And its nice to talk to them while you play and all that good stuff. I didn't know one of Chris's brothers was a high school Chem teacher. I think that is pretty damn cool man. It was funny, he said he could never teach Bio and I said I could never teach Chem. We'd make a good teaching partnership if ever a thing existed.
I went to Lindenwoods library yesterday and got a whole bunch of books no teaching middle schoolers. I am pretty excited. 12 books man. 10 of them are BITCHIN, 2 are just so so. The girl looked at me like I was crazy when I told her I was getting them for me, just to read and go through. Their library is MAD weird. You have to go through this little weird door to get to the stacks. There are no signs or anything about how to get there. I had to ask someone for help. She says no one can ever figure it out the first time. Its also MEGA small. I will had to take advantage of interlibrary loan stuff for sure. OR I can use STLCC's. I should check that shit out man. I want to look at praxis books. Maybe I will go to Borders today and do that. I have a feeling I will most likely be leaving early today. Nothing to do.
