TOUR!
As you may have known, Freya, Newbag, Trake, Hilary, myself and the rest of the fort street wind ensemble (and three hanger ons) went down over the easter long weekend to the national band chanmpionships. It was a really hard weekend and we worked hard from the friday till the monday at around 9:00 when we finished our performance. We were entered in the junior B division (they wouldn't let us in A as you need to play in a previous year). Our conductor worked very hard to motivate us and inspire us. We all pulled together to get the best result we could with the resources available.
And you know what?
WE WON THE NATIONALS!
Which is just like fuckwin. Since I'm in year 12 it's my last tour so this was just an awesome, awesome experience.
Currently glad to be back and planning on sleeping now. Sejenus knows I need some sleep.
Oh yeah, for those interested, my drawings have been getting a lot better (I've really been surprised by how good some of my stuff has been). I'm working on a project for NT and am going to announce an official comic reboot for december this year. I've been missing the comic and would like to show off my updated art skillz.
