Beach: An expanse of sand or pebbles along a shore. That was what the dictionary explanation of a beach. He liked the beach. No matter where he was, the sea was there with him. And the sea meant liberty. No one could restrain the sea. Many had tried, but none had succeeded.
Thus was also the case of his relationship. He was no ruler or captain. The proper term would be ‘keeper’. Because there was no way he would ever be able to contain her. He could never keep her locked away, so he contended himself with being her keeper. After all, she deserved no less.
He was only lucky. Was so happy she found him. Only too happy he had her. Lucky she chose him.
So he kept collecting shells. After all, she had promised him, once he had five hundred shells, she would be his. Rather, she would go down on a knee and ask him to be hers. And he would follow her, to his knees and agree, only if she became his as well.
