First accident; Rain and Thunderstorms are clouding my way.
Yesterday was a terrifying experience for me. I got into my first car accident. I wasn't at fault, but the guy rear-ended me. There was no damage to his or my car. It was only a couple of scratches, but it wasn't that bad. I'm not charging him for anything. We didn't even exchange insurance cards or license plate numbers and we did not report it to the police. Accidents happen. I was shocked and numb for a bit. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
After that terrifying experience, I was really shock and numb. And I mope around a bit. After thinking about it clearly, I should have asked for the insurance and license plate number. I should have, but I didn't. I don't regret it because well, accidents do happen. No one was hurt. It wasn't a big deal and there was no damage. There's nothing I could have done and it was just bad luck for the driver who rear-ended me. The guys said that their brakes locked up. So, it was just an unlucky day for them. Still, I drove again for work.
The storms in Florida are terrible. I think we are the number 1 state for lighting or something. I hope the rain lets up. As much as I love the rain and the thunderstorms, what I hate the most is driving in the rain. It is so dangerous. I was going 30, and 40 mph on a 60 mph. It was that terrible. The lights on one of the main intersections is out. Police officers were on the scene. It was just terrible.
