Weekend Wrap Up
Friday: Despite my plans to have fun with ficlets, things didn't work out so well as everything I started turned out to be the set up for something long and epic. However, I did get to give and receive some lovely fic-moments with Ruby, so yay!
Saturday: Went out to visit amand_r and VK in their new digs. On the way, Husband pulled up to the Hostess store because, yes, what my fat ass needs are Twinkies, Ho-Hos and Fruit Pies. *cries* ANYWAY! Had a lovely visit filled with breakfast-for-dinner, happy!baby time, and some mockery of Forever Knight (because it does not age well, man). We left some boxed sets, came home with some books, and had much fun. We then went directly to feed and walk some critters we were looking after before finally heading home.
At which point I found this John/Ronon snippet waiting for me and damn near threw my back out with my flailing. It was written by arsenicjade and she writes them with such layers and affection that it breaks me wide open every single time.
Today: Paid tribute to my fat ass with the eating of Hostess donuts. *cries* Retreated to the downstairs unit to write but was distracted after visiting the SGA storyfinders comm, and therefore spent SEVERAL HOURS reading Rodney-Sue bad!fic because we all know I have a weakness for bad!fic.
Finished up the threesome fic I've been working on, and then in the shower I got another idea for how to maybe move the John/Ronon story forward, which I will try this week. *crosses fingers*
