In case you ever wondered how many times in one weekend I can read and edit a 25,000 word story before just the thought of the story is enough to make my brain hurt, I'm here to tell you that the answer is 4 times. Fic was sent off to spend some time with its scrumptrulescent beta reader and I am going to pretend it doesn't exist for a while.
All that editing on its own would have been enough to fry my brain but I did a bunch of other writing this weekend, too, and I feel like I've been put through a mental wringer. Tonight, I'm taking the night off.
In other news, because I had yesterday off I spent today thinking it was Monday and I missed a freaking doctor's appointment due to that stupidity. *facepalm*
In further news, it is only five minutes into my night off from writing and I am already bored and twitchy. *cries*
