On the plus side, I actually really am excited about the topic we're using for our data collection project. We're going to analyze what, if any, gaps exist between the needs of female ex-offenders and the services offered by existing ex-offender programs. We suspect that female ex-offenders (which is a growing population) have needs that are not being met by the current programs, which were set up to service a majority male base. I'm all aflutter with ideas of how to work with organizations to use my program to close some of the gaps we might find.
...and, uh, no, there was no sarcasm. I really am excited by this. I even used my Squee! icon, dudes. /geekery
And I think I shall refrain from further posting about this, lest I bore my entire f-list to death.
