Dear Virgin Records Cryptographers:
Congratulations, the out-the-ass protection on my recently purchased 30 Seconds to Mars CD has outright prevented me from sharing a song or two with people who wouldn't buy the fucking disc anyway. Great job. Really.
But I should probably tell you fuckwits that the only goddamn reason I bought the fucking CD was so that I could put the tracks on my iPod, and your cock-knocking protection WILL NOT LET ME DO IT! Screw you and your assmunching protection measures.
Oh, and the built-in player that comes with the CD sucks balls.

*deep breath* Does anyone know how I can convert protected .wma files to recognized iTunes format? Even though I have licensing for the songs, iTunes won't convert the tracks from my music library. When I put the disc in and try to do it directly from there (as iTunes tells me to do), the disc isn't recognized. I tried on both my computer and on Lee's Beautiful Powerful Monster. Nadda.
If I'd known that I'd only be able to listen on my computer--via Media Player, no less--I would have kept my $12 and not bothered buying the damn CD.
ETA: Returned the useless CD and got the tracks via iTunes. *shakes fist of fury* Bastards.
