honestly it's so adorable!! i love junhwe's inner monologue in reference to jinhwan which is, SUSPICIOUSLY, very similar to your one. *squints* jk jk, honestly i think i'd be satisfied just reading 5k of junhwe waxing poetic about how cute jinhwan is and trying to comes to terms with his feelings, which is exactly what this fic is, with the added bonus of the best tropiest trope to ever trope ;; fake dating <3
omg i think i'll probably just end up... describing all these cute scenes back to you. i had cavities by the end of this fic, IT WAS SO ADORABLE. like just from the first "date", junhwe texting yunhyeong in a panic, and then being sucker punched by jinhwan on first sight. i just love the idea of junhwe becoming instantly smitten with jinhwan just from the very first meeting u___u this is my headcanon and no one can take it away from me. and just all the imagery of them cuddling, and kissing, and hand holding!!! why is it all so cute. “and it also means we have to be comfortable doing this,” jinhwan goes up on his tip toes to press a kiss to corner of junhwe’s lips. SCREAMS THIS IS SO CUTE, i can feel junhwe's brain just short circuiting!!! ;; and then jinhwan taking what he thinks is the high road and breaking up with junhwe because he doesn't want to ~lie~ to him, and the making up in the grocery store. EVERYTHING IS SO ADORABLE. /BARFS/
and i love all the cameos by the rest of ikon too! lmao like back in his first year of high school, when junhwe was on the basketball team, there was an extremely overbearing junior who he couldn’t stand. i would be disappointed if this referred to anyone else but bobby tbh. i love this fandom trope of bobhwe, i'll love it forever. and donghyuk as junhwe's best friend!! doing what he believes is best for junhwe all the time even when junhwe doesn't want it. everyone being like :O at junhwe showing like, actual affection for something that isn't food lmao

what would junhwe have done without yunhyeong tbh!! yeah, junhwe is just lame enough to be instantly smitten by jinhwan, but then again who wouldn't be slightly enamoured by him in a first meeting. jinhwan needs to stop having an internal angst battle that's almost on par with junhwe, things would get solved much more quickly that way and sad things wouldn't have to happen, like them thinking they both have a one-sided crush.
the fandom trope of bobhwe has to be my, second favorite trope or something (right after all the junhwan ones of course). donghyuk just means the best for junhwe!! so he feels terrible when junhwe ends up moping and is always trying to look out for him (in a roundabout sort of way i suppose).
uwu this comment was too kind!! clearly i can't write junhwan in a timely fashion unless you're bullying me to do it, i still can't believe i actually finished this in about a week. bullying me seems the way to go.
