I have time off! XDDDDDD My next class isn't until November 30. Happy, happy days! Of course, I have loads of work to do. I have a presentation on Nov 30, I have a 8-10 page research paper due on Dec 2 (I think; the prof hasn't actually told us when it's due. Fail.), a 3-5 page paper ripping apart a selection from Nietzsche (!!!) due on Dec 11, as well as a business plan and a presentation on Dec 11. That doesn't include the five final exams I'll be taking. Yay for finals looming!
I was kind of an idiot yesterday. I'm walking to my car before class (at 8 am; I had gone to bed at 2:30 am; I was going on 4 hrs of sleep). I walk over to the other side of the apartment complex because that's where I remember parking. My car's not there. (Her name is Darlene, by the way.) Of course, I start freaking out. I call the security company that patrols the complex, thinking that they towed it (again). Thankfully, both Tara and Johnny were outside, getting ready to go to class and they were able to give me a ride, along with everyone else who was supposed to come with me. I call the security people and the lady looks up the car to see if it's been towed. She class me back right before class to tell me that it hasn't been towed; it's probably been stolen. Crap. Johnny kept telling me that I probably just forgot where I parked it, since he's done that a lot. I kept telling him there's no way I parked where he said I must have, because I would have remembered it. The first forty-five minutes of class I'm feeling pretty darn horrible. Darlene's gone, and there's no way I'm going to be able to get another car. My life has just gotten that much harder. Then, I have a light bulb moment. Over break, I call one of the girls in my apartment. I ask her to look out the window of our apartment at the parking lot. Lo and behold, there's Darlene! I had forgotten where I parked my car. *headdesk* Fail, no? I was just so happy for the rest of class, though, that I didn't care about my stupidity.
Well, I had better get to my homework. It's 4 pm and I haven't done anything. It's been nice to be lazy.
Oh! One more thing. My school had its first football game last Saturday. We drove up to TAC (another Catholic college, located in Ojai, CA). We got creamed; I think the score was 30-0. I know nothing about football, but a lot of people said they weren't really playing fair. I was so proud of our boys, though. They were really good sports about it. And our team didn't have males cheerleaders who painted their bodies. *shudders* Most of them were really white and skinny, except this one dude who was white and fat. *twitch* Maybe I'll post pics later.
