Stupid Me

I refuse to freak out yet. Yes, I have tons to do. Yes, I've been an idiot and taken too much on. Yes, I can handle it. *deep breath*

Heh, I was going to write up a to do list. But all of you don't really care, and it would just stress me out more.

Last night in Web Design II the professor talked about what we'll be doing next quarter. He said ( Read more... )

stress, anime, avatar, college, web design, life

Don't freak out. Just breathe, relax. You'll get through it. :)
W000000T! DIDN'T I TELL YOU? I screamed, cried, and clawed at the floor when I watched the finale. And yes, yes, Azula's character arc had a magnificient ending, didn't it? :D

I was thinking about you when I was watching it. =D What parts did you like best? I thought it was awesome how the Order of the White Lotus showed up. I especially love the fact that Sokka's swordmaster (can't remember his name) showed up because I remember the pai sho (sp?) tile they found outside his house.

:D Ah, yes, Pakku. Someone pointed out that for a show with such strong female characters, it's a shame there were any female Old Masters. But oh well, it's still great. :P
Oh gosh, I loved so much of it! It's so hard to choose. Zuko and Azula's agni kai is certainly very high at the top of the list, just because GOSH it was crafted so beautifully, both musically/cinematographically, and also for their character arcs. <3 I screamed "NO!" and dragged myself across the carpet when Zuko was struck with lightning. I can't even remember which parts set me to crying anymore, but I know I was blubbering by Zuko and Aang's hug at the end, and during Zuko's coronation speech.

Well, there was the Puppet Master lady. She was creepy. I don't think I've ever been so freaked out by a cartoon character before. =P

See, I would have liked Zuko and Azula's agni kai to be a little more close-up. More fist fighting, I guess. I like that kinda stuff, lol. It was kind of disappointing that Zuko wasn't the one to take her down, too. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was awesome how Katara did it, (and I love Azula's reaction; it was so... fitting? realistic? powerful?) but it would have been cool for Zuko to redeem himself in such a concrete way. Make up for his sister's insanity and whatnot.

So my roommates and I printed out the picture they did of us as benders at Kinkos. It's hanging over our door. And, yes, it is full of win.

Yes, she was definetly creepy. But I loved that! :P I also love that all their characters - villains and heroes alike - are flawed and -human-. I think that's one of the most important things for me in a story.
Hmm, I don't know. Part of me is interested to see what that would have been like, but when you have bending at your fingertips, and a lot of rage and drive, plus the surge of booster juice (xD) provided by the comet - and fire being a very difficult element to control by nature - I think it would be difficult to hold oneself back. Maybe at the end, though? I don't know...maybe somehow him actually taking down his -sister- would be a little too much? Or maybe not. I'd be interested to hear why exactly Mike and Brian chose to do it that way. Though I suppose they couldn't have just had Katara sit out the entire finale without a little fight! ;D
AZZUM. You guys rock! :P

Yeah, pretty much all of the characters on Avatar are made of win.

It does makes sense for Zuko and Azula to bend, but I just would have liked to see them fight. Psh, Azula forfeited all claims of sisterhood a long time ago, lol. Of course Katara had to fight at least a little.

Indeed we do. I'll have to take a pic and post it.
