long time no post
so I will just begin with now. Today the weather is finally fall like. no more freakin 80+ degrees. I have done a bunch of housework and made applesauce and boiled potatoes, blue ones at that!
I tried to catch up on lj, but I am so behind, I just read back one page. I have a library book that is a day overdue and I need to finish that before I get my next reserve that is in.
Josie has therapy this afternoon--she likes her Kathy.
Garth has a Youth in Government program at the Y.
Riker has play practice.
Hubby says he will be home "on time"--yeah, right. tomorrow is a birthmom visit for D. Mom missed her scheduled phone call on Sunday. There is a court date this week for a crime in a different county. As much as social worker says this will be a fast turn-around, I'm not seeing it yet. Still, because they have told us that she is reunifying, our fall vacation plans have now been changed to NOT include the baby. she can stay in respite and we can all have a break from each other. If we thought the chances were better that she would be ours, I would just take her and everyone would have to deal. but the frustration of everyone reaches these boiling points. . . it's better to have the break.
