this is the english/american opening song for 'taiyo no esteban' a.k.a. 'the mysterious cities of gold'. i like it better than the japanese op: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vz0R5zAGEc . at least the animation is the same.

this is what youd call an "understated" opening. song makes up for it, though. and the obvious emotion of the scenes.

i was sad that the lip sync only lasted 1/3rd the song.
