finshed the series "avatar" this long weekend.
the writing was unbearably childish, but the characters were not left undeveloped and only a few things and character stories were left unresolved or unexplained. unfortunately those bug me a bit, but i suppose i can live with recommending the series to someone who wants to see something "fun", if they dont mind kiddy writing at times.
the last few epic fights were pretty epic, and it seems that most of the main love stories are done playing out by the end.
unfortunately, the character i almost liked the most did not get her backstory resolved or her love story ever developed.
on the up side, even the uselessest character was a sword master by the end of the story.
i dont have a more detailed review in part because large parts of the series felt like filler and ive already begun to forget things.
having seen it all, though, i must say that it didnt feel like a complete waste of time to actually finish it.
