I picked this up in an Art auction

So sick. It wasn't quite as expensive as listed here but that is the appraised value of the piece. I don't know how many exist, but I am thinking there are 750 numbered pieces that are 3 dimensional. The reason that I like it so much is that it pops out at you. There are several layers to the thing. Tight.

I also got two pieces that are of paris that are almost as cool. Paid 200 and they are valued at 1395. I can't wait to get them. I'm going to put the Ziff Martini piece in my basement somewhere. Paris? Not sure yet.

Found them. They are by Francois Ledan. They are sister pieces so they have to go together. When together it looks as if you can see the Eifel tower and the chapel through the same window even though they are no where near each other.

Reading up on the artists and the history can easily get addicting. Right now I'm facinated by the Devine Comedy series by Gustave Doré.
