It's good to be back...
It has been a whole semester since I have updated...that's a hell of a long time, but kinda cool cuz now I can just write about the semester in general.
I'm home now for break and have nothing to do so I'm sure I will be updating a lot, along with being lazy and sleeping my days away.
This semester has been a lot of fun. Classes and such weren't always that great, but overall not too bad. I'm pretty sure I'm going to change my major now from Management to Marketing after I took my first marketing class, so we'll see how that goes. I've also figured out when I'm studying abroad and how long I'm really gonna be here..kinda excited for the 5 year plan, like I could ever leave anyway! This semester for the first time I was able to have sisters in my classes, so that definetly helped me in staying sane. I had the pleasure of seeing Rachel almost fall out of her chair a couple times because she was sleeping so that's always funny! haha..I love you Rabaz! Finals were pretty decent, my only hard one was Finance, I hope I did well as far as grades go, so we'll see next week!
The social aspect of college has been great and getting even better as time passes, like it always does! There have definetly been a lot of fun times at the mill, the fratplexes, Boltwood, BFE and even in our own parking lot..LOL! Some highlights were Halloween, where Beth and I were condrunktion workers..I've never had so much fun at BFE's ever!! We were wasted the whole time and never left the dance floor, it was amazing! Homecoming with the Delt Sigs was definitely a highlight and the creation of Team Dynasty! That is absolutely what happens when dynasties (or dynastys) collide! GDI's tried to ruin our fun, but they can't hold us down and anyways Rachel would hit them in the neck with a bottle! haha! The Pink Party was a lot of fun, a great excuse to dress in pink and get crazy..dancing on tables..always a good time! Alpha Mu's 2 year anniversary in the parking lot..fucking hilarious..we are off the hook! Making AOII cool since Fall 02! Love you girls! McCracken's Holiday party..absolutely amazing..who knew I could get classy with 5 O in martini glasses..oh dahling! I'm so glad to have made such amazing memories (even one's I forget) with my sisters and all of my old and new friends!
This semester has also been one of new beginnings. This was my first semester on Senate and that has been an experience. I've met a lot of new people and it's given me an opportunity to make a difference on GVSU, which is awesome! I was inducted into Order of Omega and I can't wait to see what that brings. I was elected the new Vice President of Administration for Panhellenic and that makes me so happy! I love Panhell and can wait to get started, and I'm especially happy to be on the e-board with my mini! I was also elected the new Philanthropy Chair for AOII and I am super excited for that since I have so many new ideas for us and I also get to use the word 'serve' so much more, as if it wasn't in my vocab enough..haha..this will be fun!
I think that this has been an amazing semester, where I have experienced a lot of new things in school, in my student organizations, and of course with my sisters!
Special shout out to my best friend (of course, cuz we're always drunk and crazy..or not bitches!..haha) Beth, the mini's, my roomies, my special friend, all of my sisters, the Greek community in general (cuz you know of course their cool..lol), and anyone else who has made my semester so fucking sweet!
