I was tagged by
strangevisitor7 to list my five favourite stories of those I've written this year. This was harder than I first thought it would be, but anyway I think I've narrowed it to five so here we go:
1.
Methos on Discworld: This whole series just continues to make me smile every time I read it. I think it's possibly one of the best things I've written, along with my Dr Who/Jeeves and Wooster fic from last year.
2.
For Tomorrow We Die : It may only be a drabble, but this is one of my favourites because I honestly don't know what part of my brain it came from, it was a moment of...madness, genius, inspiration? *shrugs*
3.
Too Much Certainty in the World : I like this one because it's a rare non-crossover Dr. Who, and I found a way to bring Donna back!
4.
To the Devil a Vacuum Cleaner : One of the crackiest fics I've ever written (and let's face it, that's saying a lot), this still makes me laugh every time I read it.
5.
A Tangled Web : A Part of the Watcher!Abby series, this was the second confrontation between Methos and Gibbs, and I love it because they are just so great to write, it's a real joy to let the snark flow free *eg*
And I know it's cheating, but I have to give an honourable mention to
Rarely Pure and Never Simple because it's another rare non-crossover, Highlander this time, and it's another one that I'm really proud of, despite being quite an understated character ficlet.
Not going to tag anyone because I figure everyone's probably done this by now if they were going to.
Finally, because I'm a deeply needy person:
♥ the fanficcers love meme,
continued ♥
