HL50 Prompt - Years Highlander/Torchwood Crossover

This is set post Prodigal Son, and I imagine it as Richie and Duncan attempting to bond again after everything they’ve been through. In terms of Jack there’s a bit of a spoiler for Last of the Time Lords, but actually you won’t get it if you haven’t seen it, so it isn’t really a spoiler.

This may turn into a Denial AU at a later date but right now

It hasn't even started there yet? Good grief, we're getting season 2 in January!
Makes a nice change though, usually we're the ones waiting forever. For example: Heroes only started last week, and only season 1 of SGA and season 8 of SG1 have aired over here. *headdesk*

Love the idea of Duncan and Richie meeting Jack, and the Duncan and Jack being old friends.

Also like their reaction to the Weevil, although I'm surprised that Duncan didn't use the old katana on it! AU Richie's reaction to the existance of aliens as well handled. Would be curious to see a sequel dealing with Richie and Duncan knowing about aliens, and what happens during the year that didn't exist. Who was leaving the Torchwood crew?

Great ideas, I'm really leaning toward writing an AU where Richie joins Torchwood after his bike race 'death'. But I'm currently batting away the bunnies until I get rid of at least one WIP ;). So I'll keep those thoughts on the back burner for now.
