Not only one of the greatest fictional detectives, but also my favourite screen grandfather. He will be missed.

Yeah, it's like a big part of my childhood has died. I used to love to watch Columbo when I was a kid. I don't know why I thought he was so cool.

First Liz Sladen, now him... sigh...

He was cool. The way Columbo fooled everyone, and then that 'Just one more thing, sir...' was brilliant and I don't think any other actor could have played the role as well. And The Princess Bride is the coolest fantasy movie ever IMHO so anyone in that automatically gets major cool kudos :)
