I probably shouldn't have, but I worked a ton of overtime last month so I got paid nearly twice what I normally get - figured I earned it! :)

If I'd got my night duty pay, I would have done too! Same happened when LJ was doling out permanent accounts - couldn't afford it at the time but 1 or 2 months earlier or later and I would have been fine. Trying to remember what shifts you get paid for and when is a right pain sometimes.
