For day two of consci_fan_mo. George is having a quiet drink, when in walks Angua.

A quiet drink in a random pub; some peace for a moment. His skin prickles, the air feels somehow…thin. Although it’s not his time of the month, his hackles rise. He catches a scent both familiar and foreign.
Looking around, all the tension returned to his body, he spots her. On her way from the bar and she’s noticed him. He’s never seen her before in his life, and yet he knows her.
He nods; a silent invitation. She accepts, sliding onto the banquette opposite him. He smiles and offers his hand. She just glares at him.
“Hello, I’m George.”

She caught his scent as she was ordering at the bar. Instantly wary, she watches as he realises she’s there. A small growl escapes her, but he seems friendly. He invites her over, and since she’s on his turf she complies, drink in hand.
Takes the seat opposite; watching, alert, keeping as much distance as possible.
He smiles, startling her, offers his hand across the table. She considers him a moment and decides that he’s not a threat. Tonight she could use the company. Still cautious, but trusting her instinct, she takes his hand and shakes.
“Hello, George, I’m Angua.”
