Oh Canada Part 2
More road trip pictures, and some Vancouver ones. More to follow once I get them uploaded, which will feature the Chinese garden for all you Highlander fans, and the con photos for the SPN fans. We saw this tourist trap on the road to Kelowna and just thought it was brilliant in a kitsch, touristy kind of way.
Impala!
No, I know it's not that one, but we saw it in Kelowna and we thought it was funny.
On the Kettle Valley Steam Railway. It's a section of the old Trans-Canada railroad that was saved and restored by a local historical society.
Now you can ride the section and several times a year they recreate a train robbery that occurred there. Sadly we didn't go on one of those days.
The trestle bridge that marks the end of the journey.

This guy was great, he came around the carriages playing his banjo and singing. Sadly we didn't get a shot of his face - he looked just like Colonel Sanders!
The lovely conductor on the train. All the staff who ran the train were volunteers, and so passionate about keeping it alive.
