So Being Human was back tonight
and, as promised, it was gorier and darker!
The bit with the werewolf in the pressure chamber was... well ew frankly! But it could have been worse, I was expecting him to explode with the pressure or something like that. I'm still undecided about the Professor Jaggart plotline. Haven't the guys got enough in their lives without religious zealots chasing after them? But at the same time I am looking forward to seeing where Toby takes this idea.
Ivan calling George Bouncer was too funny! As was Annie's attempt to break the ice with her line about a werewolf called Nina on Buffy (although, wasn't that Angel? anyway, I digress)
I liked that George was acting more the wolf, since the episode picked up only three weeks since he killed Herrick it made sense, but I was awfully glad when he broke down. Hopefully this means that the George we know and love is back!
I especially thought it was good how he was such a self-centred (and guilty) wanker about it all that he hadn't smelled It on Nina or caught on that she could smell the blood and perfume on him, which a human wouldn't have.
All in all, a promising start and I'm really glad it's back. Also very glad that my fic didn't get completely Joss'd!
