Bosses - dontcha just love em?
First off, where is everyone? T'Internet seems to be doing an excellent impression of the Marie Celeste the last few days, v. odd.
That said I'm not exactly overly productive at the moment either. This is because I'm working a ton of overtime because my shop is really short staffed.
I don't mind cos I need the money, but I'm a little pissed off at the attitude of my bosses. My manager got sacked (for no apparent reason btw) and then the assistant manager quit. Now we also have a 3rd keyholder who acts as supervisor when the management isnt around. I was hired a month ago to be said 3rd keyholder. The temporary manager told me that she couldn't make that happen, she didn't have the authority, but that the area manager would discuss it with me.
I go into work on Wednesday and find an advert in the window for the position of 3rd keyholder. Then when I check the rota, I'm in charge next Friday because the temporary manager won't be around. So, they belittle me by indicating I'm not capable of being 3rd Keyholder, then they don't have the common decency to inform me that they are looking for someone else and then they tell me (tell not ask mind) to perform the duty of 3rd keyholder on Friday!!!
