Big gulps of tasteful air.
So, I knew this decision for about three years now. I have officially put down my deposit to Stony Brook yesterday. Its just perfect, I couldnt be more excited to finally have it finalized. It was just such an accomplishment to get in and to find the money. I went down to the campus this week and it emphasized how much of a great fit the school is for me. So thats good. Not so sure why it took this long.
I usually dont "need" vacations, I just feel like taking it as an escape or a way out, is just pathetic...but this time I really did appreciate the time. I was timid about this week, all the plans I felt obligated to, but it seemed to flip 180 degrees as the night would continue on. I mean, not even just the nights but the days too. It has been a successfully content and refreshingly fun vacation.
Oh and I have successfully been illuminated, much to my dismay. It feels silly, like I'm just a silly little girl, but I'm really into this. I'm into...
