“Harry?” Draco whispered excitedly, prodding him awake. “Harry!”
“What?” Harry mumbled sleepily.
“Do you know what today is?”
Harry screwed up his face in lazy confusion. “No,” he replied.
Draco looked hurt. “It’s Thursday.”
Harry quickly scanned through his mind for any mental reminders that he might have attached to Thursday when he was actually awake and functioning properly but couldn’t find anything. “So?”
“So?” Draco spat. “It’s Thursday which means it’s only four more days until my birthday!”
“Oh yeah.”
“Which also means only four more days until I get anything I want and you have to provide it for me!”
Harry thought about this for a moment before rolling onto his side to go back to sleep. “I think you’ll find, Draco, that you getting anything you want and me having to provide it for you isn’t limited to just your birthday.”
