Entry 58 - Voice Post

It's too bad Mummymon disappeared.  He was really nice.

But it looks like I've got a new roommate now, already.  I haven't gotten to meet him yet, but whoever you are, welcome to Econtra!

In fact, there are lots of new people here, from the looks of things...

Well, I've been working on this for a little while, and though it's not quite done, it fits, and lots of other people are singing anyway, so...

I'll admit, it is a little... disconcerting,
waking up somewhere else - not where you should be,
and the first greeting you receive from someone that you know
is from someone you'd thought (no, known) you'd never see.

These alternate dimension things seem endless.
Complete strangers may call on you as a friend.
You might even get the chance to meet another you.
Oh, and the computer's wit?  It has no end.

I'll admit that things can get a little... strange here,
all these nearly-random magical effects.
They fly around and, warningless, affect bodies and minds.
One can never guess just what will happen next.

You might wake up to find that you've changed species,
or gained strange quirks or powers you'd never sought.
There are sometimes cases of drastic personality change.
(By the way, I would avoid drinks that are hot.)

But although it's not the world that I'm used to,
and it was never my choice to come in,
if I tried to describe all of my good memories here,
there are so many I don't think I could begin.

Being here is pretty nice, with the right mindset,
though some things do happen that are sad.
We can't forget that we were brought to fight a war,
but I'll admit, this place is, really, not that bad.
And if you've got any questions, feel free to ask someone who's been around a while.  I've been here for almost six months, but there are lots of people who have been here even longer than me, so... yeah.  ^-^

...Brother...  was what he said true?  When people... do they really lose their memories of their lives?

...No.  No, Miss Yuuko said you were watching out for me.  You wouldn't do that if you had forgotten, right?

((ooc: Small text in the song is spoken and muttered, almost indistinguishable unless you listen hard.  And yes, I wrote it.  And no, it's not done... this was only the first verse, probably.  ...And no, she hasn't been affected by the singing plot.  She just felt like singing for the heck of it.  ^-^))
