[Someone is rummaging around in a cabinet, his head stuck inside it. There's the tinkling of glass hitting lightly against more glass. The person emerges to reveal Tony Stark.]

I know there was at least three more bottles. Miss Rushman ordered a case....

Three bottles of Scotch? Oh shut up! I think I'd be having a hell of a hangover now or dead by now...So, no, I haven't. Are you sure there hasn't been anyone else?

JARVIS reports on you and Miss Rushman have been in the house. It's hardly likely Miss Rushman would take my scotch as she has to work with me entirely sober in that case.

Dummy is a possibility. I checked the liquor cabinet in the bedroom, the living room and the cabinets in the kitchen. The bottles are all missing.

I'm not even certain where you'd hide scotch.

Oh you'd be surprised. Secret compartments and such. Or so I'd reckon but nothing's turned up so far. Maybe in the closets?

I have a feeling it's not Dummy nor is it hidden. The bartender at the Lux is serving me apple juice and club soda when I ask for Scotch.

I think it's a curse.

Yeah, I s'ppose that too. Might just be a curse since someone I talked with seems to be having the same problem with the missing alcohol.

If it is a curse, won't be too long now though before you can properly drink again.

As far as I'm aware you can order anything you like. And I'm very good at keeping up appearances. [That's more true than he'd admit]

Apple juice's really not that bad.

You know odd thing. I ran across two other people with the same problem only they were missing fags. They couldn't get them anywhere. Completely sold out.

Chip addiction. That makes a good deal of sense given what I know of you.

[He considers her question a while before leaning in, his nose against her temple to whisper back] Not as far as I know. The police force did arrest one of them a while back. He stayed in jail for a while then escaped.
