I believe I mentioned at some point having a Midsummer's Night party. I realized that's getting close and while Miss Rushman and I have been planning I realize I neglected to send out formal invitations. This is my attempt at remedying that.

I believe your invitation is sufficient evidence of your deep and undying devotion to me, and so I am left with little choice but to accept your proposal.

[ She can't keep a straight face with this one. ]

[He doesn't even expect her too and furthermore he's pleased to get her laughing over it]

In that case we'll have the ceremony straight away. Something on the beach with a 100 or so of our closest friends. It'll be the event of the season I'm sure.

In that case, we should hold the ceremony during your party. That way the whole City shall be in attendance. It will be quite the spectacle.

It'll be the highlight of the party. [now he wants to do this for the shock factor]

[ A shame Reinette wouldn't actually let him go through with it... ]

I think we would give quite a few people the shock of their lives.

All the more reason to do so. I'll have Miss Rushman draw up the annulment papers for the morning after.

[ And she would be quite generous in return, allowing him access to his workshop. She wouldn't want to be the shrewd ex-wife, y'know. ]

I wonder if ours would be the City's first divorce.

[They'd be the perfect divorced couple. Have dinner once a week just to discuss how the divorce is going]
