(no subject)
So today me and my counis set out to watch meet the fockers. Janel and I get to the window first and this white old lady opens up a register to help us out. So we were int he movie theatre waiting and wondering why the other cousins are taking so long. So apparently what happened is my cousin (Jaime) gave the woman 20 bucks and she gives him back 3.50. So he tells her calmly that she gave him the wrong change. She keeps on insisting no, and that he's going to have to wait 20 minutes or come back when he's done w/ the movie. So they go back and forth on this with her insisting that he's going to have to wait and him saying no way. So eventually she's like NEXT. Jaime just turns around and says "I dare anyone to step up and try to get a ticket here". So he starts screaming at her that she better try to balance her registner now. So she threatens to call the police and he says "ok, as long as you give me back my money." So this black guy that's standing up there runs and call the police double time.
So now she goes in to count the register (they've been 4 transactions since the register opened, 2 of them being cc transactions) so seriously how long should it take. Not 20 minutes. . .and she comes back in 3 minutes w/ his money. So she comes out trying to hold his money hostage saying that she's not going to give him back his money till he apologizes. So he snatches his money from her and continues to walk in the theatre. So he's passing right where Janel and I are and the woman comes running up to say that he can't go in the theatre, etc etc. So Janel goes over to find out what the problem is. So she hears a snippet of the story and she was like "He's wrong cuz u didn't want to give him back his 10 bucks!?!" So the woman starts to cuss about how we're all rude and shit and Janel says "a big ass computer screen telling u the change and u're so stupid u can't count out the change to a 20!?!" Kenesha chimes in "where did you go to school? Devry? Are you hating cuz we all rolled up in here with college ids" So then the guy starts to give Jaime back his money so I go over saying the rest of us is going to need a refund too. So then this yute bright and feisty looks on me and says that only Jaime can get back his money. I said (all in patois, I tohught I was talking in English too until my cousins told me later that not a word was English) that "if he goes, we all go". Then I said "Gimme back mi money!" and slam my ticket on the counter. So then at that point all 6 cousins start slamming their tickets on the counter asking for their money back and the black guy runs off to give us our change.
So the guy comes back w/ the wads of 6.50 and somehow it turns up that he's a manager. And 2 of my cousins stand up there in disbelief asking "manager!?!" Cuz when the whole thing was gonig down Jaime was asking for a manager and the woman he was dealing with said she was the only one (the other black guy who was a manager was standing up there the whole time). So Jaime looks on him and says "My brutha!?! You stood up there and allowed that to happen!?!" So the guy promptly responds "I saww you cuss her out" (when she was the one that first raised her voice). So Janel just goes over and says "wow, you're fucking her to get to the top? You feel big now that you're the manager of a movie theatre!?!"
Then we all started hating on Georgia cuz we've been getting shitty service the whole time we've bene here - like at taco bell today when Janel asked for more hot sauce, the woman gave her 3 more and plenty of attitude. So Janel asked for more and the woman was like "if u'da asked for a handful I'da given u handful, you only asked for a lot". So we just started going off that their southern hospilitatiy is totally lost to them, etc etc etc. So up to now we still haven't seen Meet the Fockers :(
