THE POLICE WERE AT MY HOUSE TODAY!!!
Ok. So my cousin (Janel, 20) and I were arguing with my uncle and her brother (Nyle, 18) about how much rape occurrs. So then we're in Nyle's room and they start fighting cuz Janel wanted to look at another page and Nyle wasn't done with the page we were at. Then Nyle has his hands wrapped around his sister's neck and Janel threw a V - 8 bottle at him. At this point my uncle picks up Janel and starts dragging her, kicking and screaming, outta the house. En route they knock over some dining room chairs and put a huge ass hole in the wall right by the door. So then my uncle goes back to work and right after my aunt comes back from the gym. So then Nyle is talking about how he doesnt' care about his sister, he doesn't respect her and he feels no remorse for what he did, and anytime she puts a hand on him he's going to hit her back (they both say that the other one started the whole thing). So Janel goes outside and about 5 mins later (if that) the doorbell rings. So I go to answer it and stand with my mouth open as I see 2 COPS asking if Nyle is home. (Janel had called them). So I lead them into the kitchen where they start talking about domestic violence and that he's under arrest although they're not gonig to put anything on his record. So my aunt starts to freak out and tells my uncle to come back home, and by this time another cop has shown up. When the cops get to the bottom of the story and realize that it's not Janel's husband but her brother, they turn out to be really pissed and were like "It doesn't need to be our business, you guys need to settle stuff non violently so that we don't have to step in." I think they were also amused that neither of my cousins involved in the fight live there. . .
Nyle and Janel have always had each other's throats. I guess ppl thought that they would grow outta it (Sheldon and I fought all the time as kids) but not at all. When I was tehre last August they fought cuz Nyle was in a bad mood and Janel wanted to see something on the family computer (which happened to be in Nyle's room) and Nyle claimed he wanted to sleep. Big fight where they're throwing shit at each other and he ends up cussing out his father.
We could also say "so how much did it cost to fix the wall last time." In the summer of '98, Janel and Anna (15 now, Janel's little sister) got into a fight about something. Then something happened (it's been 6 yeras, I don't remember the details) and Anna pisses off Sheldon. Sheldon sends Anna flying and her head misses the kitchen counter by about an inch. At this point Janel jumps in and starts fighting with Sheldon in defense of her sister and Sheldon ends up ramming Janel's head through the wall.
My family is crazy. I didn't even do any job hunting today cuz of them, but this has def inspired me to get a job. FAR FAR away.
