The same way you would your starter Pokemon, really. I don't think there's anything special you have to do with bugs.

My, is that so...? He won't need any kind of special care?

Well, the first time he evolves, he'll turn into a cocoon and be a bit harder to train. Other than that I don't think there's anything, though.

A cocoon...? That does sound a tad difficult to train...

It only lasts for a few levels, so it shouldn't be too difficult to manage, really.

My... It's still a tad confusing to think about this whole 'level' business... Though I'm glad he won't have to be one for long, since he rather enjoys my shoulder.

It can be a bit confusing at first, but I'm sure you'll grow used to it soon enough.

...Though, after he evolves out of the cocoon stage, he may be a bit big to sit on your shoulder, sadly.

I'll be doing my best~!

Ara.. Is that so? I imagine I'll just have to find a new way to bond with him when he evolves~.

Then I'm sure you'll be fine~

I doubt it'll take him long to come up with something new he likes. Most Pokemon don't seem to be particularly subtle about their affections.

Oh my... I'm still inexperienced, but I suppose they are like most pets in that regard...
