FAQ

The question has often been asked of our Sales Associates:
Is The Da Vinci Code out in paperback?

I got this in a Borders mailing a few weeks ago, and I can't get it out of my head. Oh, BTW, the seder was terrific- all the food turned out great, though I did not stuff the carp's head. It was very bloody anyway, I promise.

I love it when there's a 30% coupon in my newsletter.

I didn't come across TDVC paperbacks but I saw, with glee, that Eats, Shoots and Leaves is out in paperback.

The coupons rock. The first reason I have had to like Borders, ever. But I think most dvds are still cheaper at Tower, even with coupons.

Cubby was reading the new Eats Shoots paperback t'other day- panda stickers!

Oh definitely the retail prices on DVDS at Borders is too mighty for even the 30% coupons, I usually buy DVDs at deepdiscountdvds.com. I get my parsimonious thrills by applying the coupons to CDs and books (especially mass paperbacks) and seeing the tax-included total being less than the prices on online stores. *needs a cold shower*

The Tower Records in Austin closed down a few years ago. I hung out there quite a bit, whiling away my study time at their listening stations.

Hee! Those stickers. Pandas are the bestest.

Hey, great tip! I don't think that's actually less than I paid for Veronica Mars with my Borders coupon (it was an emergency! A friend had to be cheered up!), but it's about the same amount. Great to know.

Why are you Steve?

Whoa, VM is on $22.99 at Target this week. Also, have you seen Match Point yet? The Woody Allen movie with mah boy in it comes out on DVD this week. I liked it, and not only because of the sex scenes between JRM and Scarlett Johansson.

Holy craposito, dude- how do you find this stuff? I should ask you first next time I'm thinking of buying a dvd.

I didn't see Match Point- thanks for the tip. Ever since I got TiVo, I never seem to watch dvds unless they are already around the house. TCM and general TV keep me bizy.

Here's a peek into my sad little life. Every Sunday, I'd checked the Circuit City, Best Buy and Target ads to see what CDs and DVDs are on sale.
