Life in AA
Let's see...so now I'm living in the Nakamura Co-Op in Ann Arbor for the summer. 807 S. State St. (48104)...you should write me or come visit!
The first night was really hard because I got really homesick for my family and I missed Adam more then usual, probably bc I was all by myself (Colin and Linds weren't around). Luckily I have a roommate, her name is Halley (funny huh?). I really like her and am excited to not be by myself. She moves home on the 25th though so then I'll be by myself until someone else moves in.
I really like the people in the house. They're pretty awesome and very friendly! I'm glad to be able to meet so many new people and spend time with them but I'm feeling really disconnected from my girls. I feel like I haven't spent any quality time with y'all in months which in some cases is true..but it's sad all the same. I miss you girls. I don't know how to remedy this seeing as in very few days I'll be starting work at Papa John's and that's gonna cut down my availability by a lot :-/ Any suggestions?
Nothing much else happeninng around here. I'll post some pics of my room eventually. I like it a lot although we both are lacking dressers so we're kinda livin' out of suitcases :-/ Oh well...once Halley goes home I'll bring one up from home. Chloe's adjusted nicely :p I haven't let her out into the house yet cause I'm scared she'll wander off and hide and I'll never find her. She doesn't seem to mind but I still feel guilty about keeping her cooped up. Another issue is her strict diet...there's another cat in the house and his food just sits out so she'll be able to eat that and that'll ruin any progress I make with the diet she's on. (The vet told us that if she keeps up this way she's at risk for diabetes, etc...)
I want the sun to come back. I miss it.
Wine and cheese house party tonight :p I'm going even though I'm not into wine but it should be fun.
I have to clean the bathroom and dining room at some point today. Yuck...
