Recording with Bob yesterday was an absolute headblastingly stressful experiance (lost laptop chargers, unclear plans, cars, guitar straps made from rope and a punchbag all contributed slightly to this stress)but it went quite well. From what we heard of the rough mix, (because we still haven't heard it yet) it's going to be well garlic naan.
And before you start imagining this plush corporate recording studio, let me demolish that idea. We recorded in a freezing fucking warehouse type thing in the city centre with two mikes, surrounded by what is best described as bric-a-brac. It was neat though. Grungy. Just fucking cold.
Aaron didnt even turn up. Can't say that that set us back any. It's probably for the best, we could have ended up strangling him with his own tongue.
so we recorded the four tracks we said we would, which, if you've forgotten the apt, and hillariously topical, titles, are-
1. cooking booyah for the ransomers
2. blue whale in a suit
3. the vanilla plague
4. staligmites of fluff
these recordings should be available for download / CD-R bumf within the next few weeks, probably sooner. Honest. No foolin' this time.
Peace out.
