Costume report!
So I hung out with Riki (Riddle) on Sunday. Turns out the mold we took may not work out. It came out ok, but Riki was so cold in the process of making it that she had her shoulders pulled up and it made her body twist. You could see goosebumps all on the mold. It was so sad, but we'll just take a new one when the weather is warmer.
With that in mind I want to start my new GITS costume. And also some Oden Sphere! It's like I go in phases of actually wanting to work on costumes. Right now I'm on the upswing, and first comes the Major.
On that note, Riki has been working on a Kusanagi costumes too for quite some time. She was super focused on making sure the costumes was made out of things that would actually look correct. (ie: not just spandex) Like neoprene, leather, etc etc etc. The cups were even heat formed or something so they hold a shape like a bra cup would. I'm not even sure how it works, but every piece looked awesome together. It's nice to be working on costumes with Riki because she's got really great taste!
The one thing that made her sad was that while everything was super well made, whoever took the measurements messed up. They made the pants for someone with no ass at all, and someone with a smaller chest...... Funny enough Riki and I are about the same size, except she's got a bit more chest and butt (ie: she's actually got a figure unlike me!). So one thing lead to another and I got to play dress up in Riki's costume!!

After I got out of everything, I thanked Riki for making me a costume! Actually with a few changes the thing will soon fit Riki again, and then we'll get to dress as the Major together!
