What made you want to app Michiru? I am curious because she's one of those characters that I never really "got."

That is actually very easy! I wanted a new type of character to change my line-up back in October. So, when Christi started flailing about Sailor Moon and how she wanted to app Haruka, I was more than obliging to app Michiru at the time. I had no strong feelings towards the character, but I am obviously so in love with the canon, derp. The problem was that it took half a year for us to get our act together! And I apped Koyuki and Rei in the meantime, oh snap. When the time came that we could both app, it was like pulling teeth to get me to app her, I swear. I kept trying to back out to no avail! But I got her in and she fit so well with my team that it was astounding. Frankly, I should have seen it coming, because I like characters who have a huge outer and inner face difference, like Kino and Akito. I might get frustrated with how no one understands her logic like I do with the aforementioned ladies, but she is so chill that it's not a problem if people don't get that other side to her

It's a tie between Freya and Blank! Freya is one of my favorite Final Fantasy girls, and I adore her friendship with Zidane. They go drinking together and she calls him a lazy bum and d'aaaaawwwwww.

NOSTALGIA QUESTION: How did you get into Sailormoon?

OH MAN I REMEMBER THIS SO VIVIDLY! I was ten, and it was the summer where I refused to go to camp and spent the whole summer camping out at my mom's office playing Solitare and watching Pretty Woman every day. So, one day, we came home early! And I turned on the TV! And there was this bright pink light on the screen! And this girl in a pretty white dress beating this witch with four other girls and it was so cool. Turns out, it was the last episode of the first season, so they started a rerun of the series the next day from the first episode and I've been hooked since.

I am working on a counselor app right now! Which is a problem because I'm having more fun with it than the ff_e prompt I need to finish the week before. WHOOPS.

And my line of questioning isn't very original, oh wells: what appeals to you about Akito?

I am not judging you. And I am so excited for a counselor app! . . . And I think I might know who it is, but I am hoping I am wrong!

Everything. She's complicated, complex, psychotic, and obsessive. But she is also very loving and human and weak. She struggles with her identity and with everything around her. She has such a huge separation between her outer face, her inner face, and the face that she never shows to other people. I mean, she's a character that enables me to do absolutely off-the-wall things like setting boggarts on fire or trying to stab the shepherd of a wolf game without batting an eye. And she will never stop moving and changing and altering. Akito cannot paint herself into a corner. Whenever she gets around to deciding to be a person, I'll just have even more to play with. Honestly, I could drop everyone I have and keep Akito without shedding any tears over it.

Whatever Fortress is doing seems like a good idea to me! I mean, when do countries not start fighting for land, and Dalmasca is the peacemaker, so it will always get involved in these things as it cannot be the Sweden of Ivalice, like Bhujerba. To be fair, I don't think a sequel of XII would feature Vaan and Penelo! It might not even bring Balthier and Fran which would make it more of a spiritual sequel, but Ashe and Larsa and Basch didn't belong in Revenant Wings as far as I understand, so it goes both ways. It just needs to have a heavy dose of political machinations off-balanced with precise characterization and gorgeous landscapes.

Alright, dress-up time for Zidane and Belle! What kind of fashions would you stick them in?

Hurna, there's a "rearrange Zidane" meme floating around Pixiv right now, and some of the ideas are very cute! I like the idea of sticking him in a posh suit, though. Definitely with a tailcoat.

Hmmm, hmmm. . . I would like to put Ashe in a light and airy white summer dress with some gold jewelery. Akito would do nicely in some feminine takes on male formal wear, like fitted vests with open button shirts and the like. The rest are pretty much set in what they normally wear for me.

Which of your dropped characters do you miss the most?

Ohh, that's a tossup between Sydney and Schierke. Schierke I would love to play again, but I wouldn't reapp unless there was a Guts. As for Sydney ... I just can't do it unless I suddenly became omniscient about everyone's canon.

And I miss Rinoa, too. But like Schierke, won't do it without a Squall.

Any headcanon for Ashe for the interim before the fall of Dalmasca and when we meet her again at the beginning of the game?
