The Singapore Boy has grown up. Hitting the big 4-0, Leong takes it in his stride with mock annoyance when no one in the audience remembers nostalgia and he plays along gamingly. His one-man plus supporting cast show pulled no punches with the irreverent satire that spares no one. The witty script by Benjamin "Mr Miyagi" Lee was funny most times, but occasionally tired at others. Potshots at been-there-done-that talking points like Mas Selamat and Ris Low were flogged to another death, albeit with a new twist. Best in the evening was his a la David Letterman Top 10 list of why the economy was recovering, where The Chris and Fann Show proved the perfect sitting duck. Good laughs, goodie bags, contests and prizes, what's there to find fault with?
